To improve your written vocabulary and knowledge to enable you to be more productive at work.
All written courses are tailored to your requirements the balance of grammar, vocabulary and production will depend on your level as it assessed at the beginning of your course. You will study structures, grammar, expressions, common errors, false friends, idioms, linking phrases and build on these until you are confident enough to write full texts. Each lesson is followed by a homework that is completed before the next session begins.
You will be assessed with a written test or examples of your previous work before the class begins. The content of the course will depend on the level you show in this assessment.
A written certificate of participation is sent or given at the end of the course.
From B1 to C2. We do not advise you to take the written course below this level. If you are unsure of your level please visit our self assessment page. It is still possible to organise a very basic limited written course containing vocabulary and expressions just to ‘get by’ in the language but we would recommend a follow up general course in the language to fully understand the structures you learn.
In-house - we work with you to find the most suitable time for you.
Our standard written course is over 10
hours and takes place once a week in a seminar environment. An example
would be 3 hours each week as a block of time for 3 weeks then a final
test. This enables enough time to undertake homework and to prepare
exercises between classes. Courses can be organised for longer
durations if necessary.
1 hour = 60 minutes, we charge per hour not per 45/50 minutes.
We have a minimum requirement of 5 people in the class. Please contact us for more information.
